mala market opened in May of 2022 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit collective space focused on boosting our local economy by using our local small business network as a platform.

In it’s physical form, mala market is a centrally located retail storefront for local makers, creators, and doers looking to enhance their business operations with low financial commitment and maximum return. Our model is structured in a way that mala market is able to offer extremely affordable, reliable, and consistent retail space for local small businesses specializing in handmade or crafted goods.

In it’s foundation, mala market is a multi-layered concept with a larger focus on connecting our community with our local businesses in an effort to improve our economy and consumer habits. Without our booming small business network, we can’t even begin to talk about the local economy. In order to keep that network booming, mala market residents not only receive full sales profit for products sold, they are also offered a multitude of financial aid opportunities such as low cost event space, micro grants, tax-incentives, and more!
