mala market opened in May of 2022 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit collective space focused on elevating our local economy.
mala market is a non-profit collective of local makers, creators, and doers providing solutions towards more sustainable consumer options in one collaborative space. We offer low commitment and high return for local small businesses by providing a centrally located retail storefront that becomes their full time boutique. Our model is structured in a way that mala market is able to offer affordable, reliable, and consistent retail space for local makers who are looking to elevate their brand while operating in a community driven environment.
Our non-profit mission is multi-layered with a much larger focus on connecting our community with our local makers in an effort to boost our local economy. The makers at mala market not only receive full sales profit for products sold, but are also offering ways for community members to centralize their demand for consumer goods such as ceramics, clothing, cleaning supplies, jewelry, and so much more.
Along with our maker spaces, we offer endless opportunities for local artists to be a part of the space as well. No matter the medium, creativity and intention are always welcome at mala market.

The Mala Market Jackpot presents a compelling opportunity for participants to win substantial rewards through a 50/50 raffle system. By contributing a desired amount to the raffle, individuals purchase their chance(s) to win. The Jackpot initiative operates on an ongoing basis, serving as a perpetual fundraising endeavor to support Mala Market's non-profit efforts.
The one winning ticket will be selected every 3 months with the winner receiving half of the net raffle proceeds and mala market, registered 501(c)(3), receiving the other half! After the winner is selected, the raffle will begin again at $0. Mala market hopes to invite our community members to share in our passions of supporting our local small business community, our youth entrepreneurs, and providing long term solutions to more consumer conscious behavior!
Prize claims may be made at mala market located at 1302 W. Gray St. Houston TX 77019 by presenting the winning ticket or by emailing malamarkethou@gmail.com to schedule a time to claim the raffle prize during normal business hours at the shop. All prize claims must be made within 15 days of the raffle that the prize was awarded during.
